Fall is in the air!

Well I just had the most awesome few days.  I was able to go on an Honor Flight with my dad (WW2 Vet) to see the WW2 memorial that was built there along with several other wondeful sights along with Arlington cemetary and then we watched the changing of the guards there.  Everyone was silent and watched with such honor.  There was 26 vets on this trip all from Missouri/Illinois.  They fly us there and back all one day.  Then we boarded a bus and they toured us around, served us meals.  If you know of a WW2 vet or now Korean Vets are included get them to go to honorflight.com and fill out an application for the next flight available.  It costs the Vet NOTHING!  Time is running out for these vets to see how much we appreciate all they did.

Now back to farm life.  Little Moose, our bottle fed alpaca is doing great.  Growing and cute as ever.  All the other alpacas are doing  just great too.  They are putting on their winters fleece to keep them warm and get me a nice supply of fiber for next year!

Hope you can stop in and see us at one of our craft shows.  Perryville, Perry Park Center 10/17/12
and then Cape Girardeau at the Arena the weekend before Thanksgiving.   Then as the past 2 years we will be at the Chester Courthouse for Christmas on the river the first weekend of Dec.  This year the Chester craft show I will be sharing my booth with Patchwork acres Goat soap.  So stop by and see all we have to offer.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season and stay warm with Alpaca!!
